Catching Up
Well, as I've said before, I'm not very good at keeping up my blogs. That's like stating the obvious as you can tell, just by looking at them. But if you're following this, I wanted to catch up with everyone as what I'm doing now.
Still in college, one more class to go to complete Medical Office and many for a Web Technologies degree. However, two more classes to get a Web Design certificate. So I'm leaning toward getting the certificate while I have funding, and just take a class here and there to get the degree.
On the work front, I didn't have to get another job. As luck has it, I was able to obtain the MIS (Management Information Systems) Specialist position with WDB (WIA office) where I did the Assistant Coordinator during summer 2009. The person in that position retired the January 1, 2010 and I officially started the position at that time, but I started training for it in September 2009. I do like the position and look forward to learning all I can. With this position comes much responsibility.
On the writing front, again nothing to report except a few reports for school. The collaboration project has stalled as many of our home lives have gotten into the way. I have been reading a lot. I read the Twilight Saga in about a month and loved them. I've read a couple of Sandra Brown mysteries as well.
Well that's it. Hope everyone is living their dream and doing what it takes to excel.
